Our Team
Silvia Pacio, MsEd, MHC-I
I am a dedicated therapist and school psychologist with experience in diverse educational environments in New York and international settings. My work is defined by a culturally sensitive and compassionate therapeutic approach, aimed at fostering supportive connections with children, teens, and adults. Building a strong therapeutic alliance and recognizing the importance of trust in the therapeutic process is at the heart of my practice. This collaborative approach empowers the client to navigate personal challenges with resilience and self-discovery.
As a first generation Latinx and native New Yorker, I approach my work with a keen sensitivity to multicultural perspectives, ensuring that my counseling and support services are attuned to the unique experiences of everyone. I believe in creating a safe and inclusive space where individuals feel heard, understood, and respected in order to foster an environment conducive to healing and growth.
My passion for mental health extends across the developmental spectrum from children to adults. I am dedicated to providing age-appropriate interventions and support, recognizing the distinct needs and challenges that each stage of life presents. Acknowledging the profound impact of trauma and grief, I specialize in providing therapeutic interventions for individuals navigating these challenges. Whether it be within the context of a school environment or in a private counseling session, my goal is to offer compassionate guidance towards healing and growth.
