Our Team

Michele Zeitlin, MHC-I

From a young age, I’ve been drawn to understanding human behavior—why we think, feel, and interact the way we do. My early experiences as an educator deepened this curiosity, as I witnessed firsthand how stress, relationships, and emotional struggles shape our well-being. I realized that beyond academic success, people needed emotional support, guidance, and a space to feel truly heard. This realization led me to pursue a career in therapy, where I could help individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion, insight, and evidence-based strategies.

As a therapist-in-training, I take an integrative, client-centered approach, tailoring therapy to meet each person’s unique needs. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and adults facing stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational difficulties. Whether you’re struggling with self-doubt, navigating complex family dynamics, or seeking healing from past wounds, I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your emotions, gain clarity, and build resilience.

My therapeutic style blends Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Relational-Cultural Therapy (RCT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also integrate Narrative Therapy to help clients reframe their personal stories and cultivate a sense of empowerment. For those experiencing trauma, I incorporate trauma-informed approaches that prioritize safety, emotional regulation, and gradual healing. My goal is to help you break free from unhelpful patterns, tap into your strengths, and develop practical coping strategies that support lasting change.

I strongly believe that healing happens in connection—with ourselves, with others, and with the world around us. Trust is at the heart of the therapeutic process, and I am committed to fostering a relationship where you feel seen, valued, and supported. No matter where you are in your journey, I am here to walk alongside you, helping you find meaning, balance, and the confidence to move forward.

Therapy is not about having all the answers—it’s about exploring possibilities, understanding yourself more deeply, and creating a life that aligns with your values and aspirations. If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d be honored to support you on this path toward healing and growth.
