Our Team
Cameron Neiblum, LMSW
I view the therapeutic relationship as much like navigating a canoe. You provide the direction and help determine where you want to go, while I offer guidance, support, and momentum along the journey. Meaningful change requires collaboration, trust, and commitment from both of us. My role is not to tell you where to go, but to help you navigate challenges, build confidence in your own abilities, and move toward a life that feels more aligned with your values and goals.
In our work together, I strive to create a safe, supportive, and empowering space where you can explore your story as it has been, as it is today, and as you hope it will become. Therapy is an opportunity to better understand yourself, develop self-compassion, and cultivate a deeper sense of connection with your mind, body, relationships, and the world around you. Through curiosity and reflection, we can uncover patterns that may be keeping you stuck and identify new ways of responding to life’s challenges.
A unique aspect of my practice is the integration of ecotherapy and nature-based healing. I believe that our relationship with the natural world can teach us valuable lessons about resilience, balance, acceptance, and growth. By developing a more mindful and curious relationship with our environment, we can begin to foster those same qualities within ourselves and our relationships. Just as we prepare for changing seasons and weather conditions, we can learn to navigate emotional, relational, and life transitions with greater flexibility, self-awareness, and confidence.
I work with adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groups from all backgrounds, identities, cultures, faiths, and lived experiences. I have experience supporting clients facing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, grief and loss, relationship challenges, family conflict, self-esteem concerns, identity exploration, emotional regulation difficulties, and issues related to attachment and interpersonal functioning. I am committed to providing an affirming and inclusive environment where clients feel respected, valued, and understood.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Existential Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Ecotherapy, Animal-Assisted Interventions, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Practices, and Family Systems Theory. By blending insight-oriented and evidence-based approaches, we can explore the deeper roots of emotional struggles while developing practical tools to manage stress, regulate emotions, improve relationships, and create lasting change.
In my work with couples and families, I focus on strengthening communication, fostering emotional connection, resolving conflict, and creating healthier relational patterns. In group therapy settings, I encourage mutual support, shared learning, and meaningful interpersonal growth through connection and community.
I believe that each person possesses the capacity for growth, healing, and transformation. As a client-centered therapist, I view you as the expert on your own life and experiences. To navigate this journey together, I ask for honesty, openness, curiosity, and engagement. In return, I offer compassion, patience, clinical expertise, authenticity, and a commitment to walking alongside you as you work toward greater fulfillment, resilience, and well-being. Together, we can identify obstacles, build on your strengths, and create a path toward a life that feels more meaningful, balanced, and connected.
